Aritu mse scroll through some fb post pasal agama ni, nmpk la certain newbies dalam Islam comment yang mereka ni convert. Alhamdullilah. Bertambah la hamba yg diberi hidayah oleh Allah ni. Suke? mesti laaa. Welcome to the club wahai muallaf.
But, the question is, kite ni convert ke?revert ke?
Just my two cents opinion and its just my opinion.
For me, I am only reverted, which is I come back to the true religion after so many years.
Besides, the word converted terasa mcm asing. Asing sgt. *at least for me
For example, someone ask me u convert ehh?
Like if you get what I mean. I feel like an outsider when people ask me like that.
But, if someone say you revert? :) is so warminggggg.
Is like they are welcoming you back, welcoming you home.
To a big big family, where all our siblings will guide us to the straight path, to meet Allah SWT.
So,
ATTENTION TO ALL THE MUKALLAF a.k.a the born muslim/senior muallaf
Please, if nothing troubles you guys, is more polite and warm and sweet to call us as reverted and not converted please.
